Awesome. Cant wait. Love EXT2. Use it all the time, that and flStudios, but its the EXT2 gui thats wins it for me everytime. Clean, slick and well thought out. Looking forward for the 15th!

Yes - and I don't expect too much anymore. eXT2 development has taken too much time and is still too unfinished. Therefore such news does not cheer me up.

ooh. All i want is bugfixes, gui automation maturity, and note preview in the midi editor. Then i will be VERY happy. This is all i need really. unfortuntely, the only change i see is yet another feature that we didn't need, but yeah, i hope this means other stuff is fixed. The meters, and other things MAY be slightly different:

Can someone please tell me what it is that they see in the new screenshot that I blatantly seem unable to discern?

the meter leds look slightly blockier, but then again that could be a resolution or compression side effect. I don't actually know, the OP mentioned it.

i honestly hope that it will be a stable release, beacuse there are many bugs that keep me from using XT2 properly ans standalone...

Ah, no I think you're right that it's a Moiré pattern caused by reducing the resolution. Pretty sure that's the existing version we have.
