Wow! You helped me a lot! I was just working on denormals on short reverb times and I really suffer from high cpu usage, but I didn't notice that it was gate! I'll take a look at it, it surely shouldn't use so much. Denormals seem to be fixed, and as soon as I fix gate, I'll upload new version.Dozius wrote:I get denormals here. Seems to only happen with short r.times. Also using the gate doubles the cpu use of the plugin. Seems like a pretty large increase for a gate, might be something to look into. Intel processor here.
Other the cpu issues I've been digging it. Good work.

Quick report after downloading it and playing with it briefly.
Opens OK in Cubase SX3 (Windows XP/Pro/SP3).
Twisting around settings to see what things sound like: great first impression.
GUI is fantastic: clean, well arranged, attractive but not distracting. Good balance between aesthetics and functionality.
I've got a new project and I will start using it there. If anything comes up, I'll let you know.
Thanks for sharing this tool.

Hello
On or two little things i have noticed :
- there is a little graphic bug, in Reaper, when i close the GUI and then re-open it, the curves are displayed flat (but the dots are at the correcet position) :

- When i turn the "stereomix" position to the left, the sound is stronger on the right side : is it normal ? Or shouldn't it be the opposite ?
- About the sound : it sounds very "airy", thin in a good way (not a thick reverb),which is very good to make some sounds shine a bit, to open up the space, etc, but if you eq the trebble too much, it can sound quite metallic. Maybe it is normal, due to some extreme settings, but well, i wanted to let you know about that...
- The featureset is already very well balanced and complete, but if i could make 2 more suggestions, it would be :
1- adding a 3d dot in the eq curves, in order to shape the sound even more ;
2- adding a "aux/send" switch, which would turn the "dry" level off, for quicker workflow (Omniverb has that and i dig it) ;
Thanks for your reverb !

Yes, I also noticed that bug, it appeared in the last moment. Now it is fixed (I suppose, but it's better to check it). I also fixed denormalization bugs (there were lot's of them, in the gate in particular. Also for more optimal CPU usage few sections are automatically switched off when you move knobs/faders to minimum (early mix, late mix & diffusion). So, the new version is now available on the site. In GUI there is still 1.0, so don't be confused by that.sinkmusic wrote:Hello

About other ideas, I'll think about them... Insert/send switch is something I'd really want to have, but it isn't clear to me how it should act. For example, if you set it to send and then load some preset, input mix should still be muted. But if it's not you, but host is loading the preset, this switch should be changed. It's easy when there is a preset browser inside the plug-in, but when we use host's function of preset changing, I don't know, how to make it best. The only solution that I think of is when you change this switch in the interface, the plug-in would change this switch in all the presets in the bank, so you can switch between them without 'dry/wet' settings affected. Will it be ok?
I'd also like to thank everyone who appreciated this plug-in, thank you for your comments. I think there going to be more interesting plug-ins in the near future.

Mmmh... Really, i don't know, i have never made any host load a preset automaticallyagorka wrote:About other ideas, I'll think about them... The idea is just that this way, you wouldn't have to make your presets in 2 versions (aux and send) in the FXB, and a simple switch would mute the "dry" signal, without having to move a fader.
So i haven't think about the various possible scenarii and behaviours ;

About the dry signal on/off switch: At first I thought that the blue read outs below the dry ER and wet sliders are on off switches. How about making them three way switches? One state would be off (e.g. yellow) next click would switch them on (e.g. green) and next click would turn them off for the whole plugin no matter what preset is dialed in (e.g. red). This would make it easy to set the plugin into a "send always" or "insert always" state with just one switch. Same could be interesting for wet and ER. You could e.g. globally turn off wet (tail) to instantly only have Early reflection ambiences available. Very useful me thinks.

This reverb sounds very good, the GUI looks great and works very well. The one thing holding me back is cpu, it's a tad high. The latest version is using 20%, the previous version was using 18%.

You're right! It doesn't work as it should have to. I've fixed it now and will upload fixed version soon as 1.02.sinkmusic wrote:

That's weird how many bugs appear after you release the plug-in. Just before the release everything seemed fine.

Very nice! I agree with all the comments about the GUI etc..
I think i found a small bug. What i did is insert mono maker before the reverb and when i pan mono maker 100% on the right there's no reverb at all.It gradually comes back as pan the other way. Maybe related to what sinkmusic found?...
Also, lets say i have Mo Verb GUI on and then click to see monomaker GIU, the monomaker GUI appear on top of Mo Verb(as it should). Now, if i want to move my mouse pointer towards monomaker i first have to pass above Mo Verb and the monomaker GUI disappear under Mo Verb as soon as my mouse pointer pass over Mo Verb. With other GUI, i would normally have to click the Mo Verb GUI to see the monomaker plug disappear but it happens automatically with your GUI. Was that intentional? Not a big deal.
I only tried on my old net Pc(P3 700 ghz).

I hope that this bug is already fixed as I wrote above.D.Wako wrote:Very nice! I agree with all the comments about the GUI etc..

Yes, this isn't intentional, but this is the only way to make the mouse wheel work. All the knobs grab the focus as the mouse passes above them. I'll try to make some checks to grab the focus only if reverb is active, but I'm not sure in success. =(D.Wako wrote:Also, lets say i have Mo Verb GUI on and then click to see monomaker GIU, the monomaker GUI appear on top of Mo Verb(as it should). And did it really worked on P3 700 Mhz? What CPU usage % did you get?

I'd hardly consider that a bug BTW. I just though I'd mentioned it.Yes, this isn't intentional, but this is the only way to make the mouse wheel work. Close to 40%.And did it really worked on P3 700 Mhz? What CPU usage % did you get?
