I had the same issue.
If you press Ctrl + k it will deactivate the virtual keyboard and Ctrl + c / Ctrl + V and the other shortcuts are back.

I had the same issue.

Although it's an old thread, it really helped me finding out why my copy and paste stopped working. It happens irregularly and my workaround is to load a previous version of the mix I'm working on. However, with info from savagebeast and others, I checked all my open windows and closed them one by one. Guess what, when I closed the "midi settings" window , copy/paste started working again. Just to be sure, I opened the Midi Settings window again, and copy/paste stopped working. Hope this helps others. It's been puzzling me for quite a while!
