I really like the updated mix of the original track. I'm not so keen on some of the drum fills as they seem a bit tacked on, but that could be remedied by some filtering and probably dropping the use of them to maybe half their current frequency (times used not bass/treble :hihi: )

It's got a Madonna - Push feel about it...and that's very good

The second track is also very promising from what I've heard so far. To remedy the click in the lower kick you might try fiddling with the sample envelope....or just use another kick!

You've got a very good idea for putting unusual sounds together and although the mixes are already good i'd say with a bit of practise you could get them sounding VERY polished.

Nice 8)

Lazy
Way too much bass or sub-bass for me, but the other sounds, although they kind of sound as if they're behind the bass, are very nice, and the parts are good. The wobbly keys sound is quite nice. Is the strings part Tapeotronic? The overall feel put me in mind of a montage scene in a movie: the city sweltering, possibly a deep-voiced DJ talking over it, or a radio weatherman, slow-dripping sweat, small apartments, etc. (though the fact that that scene is a cliche should not be taken to mean the music strikes me as cliche). I'm just listening to this again, and except for the mix sounding/feeling so bass heavy, I really do like this. Well done.

July 14 & July 15

I prefer the latter. A good mix of sounds. The snare roll seems repetitious to me in a way that just a snare hit wouldn't. I don't know why that is, and it could be just me (or even just me today), but have you considered small changes in it every other time or every few times, or possibly something like a dub delay on some of them? Just a notion. I really like the change in tone that happens around the 2:50 mark. Six minutes feels a little long to me, but again, nice work.
