Sound quality is very good. Drums sounds are cheap. ID8? Composition is not that good - very simple melodies, sounds amateur (really its like just playing with guitar without any inspiration or passion to make music, sounds just dead for me), lacks instruments in the track and you have a lot of room for making the sound more rich.

Ahem... Don't hold back now, X-Soul - tell me what you really think!
Thanks for listening. BTW as I said the drums are RDK.

Well if you want. First off - the melodies, they're so simple and weak, pretty far from being something special or original. I'm not against simplicity but such melodies can be maded in seconds without any imagination, really. Second - the bass line - simple as well, even the sound is cheap. Third, listen this tunes - they're maded pretty much in the same style, but they have a soul and originality. Just learn what they have maded and try to do better or on the same level.

I appreciate constructive criticism as much as the next guy - but wow X-Soul, that wasn't constructive at all, but instead quite a load of shit. You didn't like the track - I get it. Go crap on someone else's thread now.

Thats your words - Tell me what you REALLY think. I told you, wasted my time, now you call it load of shit. Thats really nice of you.
I didnt like it (same as my friend which was nearby), yes, because this track is just very amateurish (except for mixing and mastering, which is good, not much to mix tho), and have nothing interesting and creative, only very basic melodies, which I can make in seconds without any imagination. Thats the truth, nothing more.
And about constructive critic, it doesnt work when it goes down to the melodies. Or what I should do, write a guide for you, how to make a good melody? I've posted the clips above for you. Compare your and their work and try to do on the same level.

That was sarcasm, Shakespeare. Most people reading it would've picked up on that...X-Soul wrote:Thats your words - Tell me what you REALLY think.
You come across like a real jerk in these posts. Your criticism wasn't constructive in any form. "Your work sucks" is not constructive criticism. Learn some tact.X-Soul wrote: I didnt like it...blah, blah, blah..which I can make in seconds without any imagination. Thats the truth, nothing more....blah, blah, blah...if you have enough talent of course. Otherwise its doesnt worth a try imho.
By the way, where are your "dope" tracks, mate? (SARCASM) Please school us on how to write professional melodies. (/SARCASM...does that help?) If it's so simple for you, fire one off for us.
Jeremy, I liked the track...it made for a good listen. I think it compares favroably to a lot of the tracks I hear at the Music Cafe. Hope you don't mind my post--I've never met you online or off, but posts like that really p*** me off.

P.S.--Just figured out that X-Soul is the joker in the Props. Record thread.

Sure I will. You looks like a whiny girl, be a man. Just grow up kid, and be more open to the truth. I often criticise my work in same way, when I'm working on it, thats why I always have something good at finish. I never tell to guy lo leave if he saying that my work is bad or unoriginal, if he was right. You have shared your opinion. Please leave now.
My reply about it was sarcasm as well. That was sarcasm, Shakespeare. Most people reading it would've picked up on that...
Well I always like that when it goes to criticizing some "not good" work. Internet have a tons of shitty amateur music (and thats the real problem to find something decent, a real gems sometimes, which drowns in this crap pretty fast) and I'm here to help, nothing more. So they just stop writing and dont pollute the net with their "awesome works", or improving their tracks pretty fast. Why you guys writing the music if you dont have a talent at all? Write for yourself then, and show only when you have something decent to share. I gave a few links to a good tracks, I bet he even havent checked them. Closed in his little pink world thinking that his work is awesome and expecting everyone will come and will say how good he is and somebody come and telling, dude its not good here and there, go check some tracks, hear how its done and improve your work. Instead of saying yeah, you may be right, I'll check them hes saying "just fu** off, I dont need your opinion here". How nice is that? You come across like a real jerk in these posts. Hey X-Soul,
I took your first extremely rude post graciously and thanked you for listening. You didn't need to post anything else. But you did. WHY? I get it, you don't like the track. I disagree with you and I didn't find anything you posted helpful - now just move the hell on!
