I'm still trying to decide which tracks I should vote... after days I've been able to narrow it down to six tracks (and it wasn't easy), tonight I'll try to decide the points (even harder)...

Lot's of good and very creative entries, narrowed it down to the 5 above, but there was not one in the bunch I did't like.

Very tough decisions to make, but here we go:

10 points: Splashdown - tattiemannie
5 points: Astroid minor - Jon Boyd
3 points: Telemetry - Glynbo
2 points: science-mr.me
1 point: Stairway to Taurus - Yeager

There wasn't a single bad entry, all of them were equally valid from a technical perspective, I was going nuts trying to decide, so I just used the same parameters as I did last time, that is: if an instruments is used as an instruments at one point you forget what the music was made with and just enjoy the music.

Splashdown is there because of this, and is actually (in my mind) a tie with the other track by Tattimannie, both are incredibly quirky, original and involving.
Astroid minor: I'm a sucker for this kind of 70's like pseudo African rhythms and atmospheres and here there's also a nice retro sci-fi feel that I love.
Telemetry: very fresh and refreshing, light and soft, nice.
Science: I'm also a sucker for this kind of 80's like chord progression; if CSI had been made in the 80's, this could have been part of the soundtrack.
Stairway to Taurus: I could have never guessed which synth this was, all very soft and the Italian sounding music reminds me a bit of Lens Flare in terms of melancholy.

But I could have given points to basically everybody, I really hope some of the contestants next time will suck and make things easier

Sorry I've not been on for a while I do have a good excuse,
after being really sick for about four days I went to get anti biotics for what I thought was a very bad sinus infection, I may have/had H1N1 but I'd have to have a test to find out, but since I'm about over it not really worth the money I guess.

And I get to have a Prostate exam tomorrow !! EDIT:Any one seen the movie Fletch

Just tweaked a couple of things in QwertySam-20-QZ .... a 20xSampler with knobs on

... which will be added to the participants prize bundle for this comp. I should manage to PM all participants tomorrow with the link.

Just to repeat, all participants in this comp, including first time OSC participants will have access to all the previous participants prize Vsts .... they will be in the folder the link leads to

Sorry, gonna have to delay that participants prize handout a wee bit .... had some glitchy stuff goin on with the fx channels in QwertySam-20-QZ .... mainly cos all the notes were gating the ADSRs retriggering longer samples. Sorting it out though, wont take too long. ( I hope
