I can't say I really regret anything, but if I could get all my money back in one fell swoop, I'd probably do it. I think it has more to do with having become convinced I can do more with less, though, and not out of feeling their products suck (all my buys--RA, Colossus, Symphonic Choirs--use the old engine). My VST list gets smaller and smaller all the time.

I got the complete composer bundle. Its great for what I paid for it, but it uses kontakt. I have no interest in trying out any of the play stuff. Mostly I just use the symphonic orchestra, choirs, and stormdrum. Ra is pretty cool. colossus has a bad sounding version of any instrument you could ever want. The bosendorfer piano is ok but not very exciting. I don't know if I've loaded anything from percussive adventures so I can't comment there.

Interesting to hear that Polyslax, what's the secret to your success? I'm plagued by GUI redraw problems and every time they update Play, without fail, the plug ceases to work and I have to manually de-install and then re-install the plug in.

Hmmm... I've never had gui redraw weirdness nor have I had to reinstall at any point. I'm running the AU in Live 7.

No regrets at all, they enable me to quickly do things that are not possible with a synth.

Well I don't like the dongle, but that's the only exception.

Regret buying silver, only because I bought gold a few weeks later. Gypsy I love, VOP a wee bit disappointing (it could be me though) I presumed a voice would be spread across the keyboard but it's almost like a mellotron with a phrase per key. Symphonic choirs has a lot of promise but it and Wordbuilder really do need to be one item.

I have had no problems with the Play engine and look forward to buying Ra and Silk

RA and Silk are great. Voices of Passion are usefull, but not the greatest library ever. I just got symphonic voices, and I need to learn how to use the wordbuilder. But they all sounds great. Play is ok on my system.

I'm like half an inch from buying Symphonic Choirs. When similar questions have been asked about Choirs I've seen a lot of positive responses, less so, however, for the other libraries. Since I already have GPO3/4 I'm not terribly concerned with their other offerings.

Just curious as this gets mixed responses from my google searching. Some people say it's not enough for what you pay, some love it.

What other instruments do You have?
What is You're budget?MOR is Half off until July 31.It's a great sounding library.It will take time to get realistic results.If you do fast repeated notes Mor may fall short.There aren't enough drum hits for fast metal and
fast unmuted chors have the machine gun effect.The samples Don't always sound
consistant across the keyboard.

MOR is pretty much overran by newer guitar and bass sample libraries - see Shreddage, OTS Evolution Guitar (and their Basses as well), Prominy, etc.

So, yeah, MOR is not so good nowadays.

Shredage is great rythm gtr library and it's only $49.
prominy Just came out with a new 5 string rock bass !
Shredage is not sampled with distortion , so you'll need a good amp sim.

Fab four is not that good (ridiculous content), but for 160 euros, it's a acceptable deal. The only thing i regret is their awfull play engine. No way to get kicks, drums, hh, etc on separate tracks. Horrible, an not really cpu friendly...

And i regret their stupid NFR policy, of course.

east west owners, ever regret a library?
