Could you send him my way - just to see what it would cost to have him create skins for me.

This is really upsetting because I paid Scott something - not a fortune, but 1/3rd of what we agreed. Supossedly, I would be paying him another installment this weekend, but he is nowhere to be found and with no communication, I will not blindly pay money to someone with zero guarantee of receiving the end products.

To go with someone else will cost me MORE money and time. This is all very bad.

:D

some more donations on the way Anders
I would like to talk with this person as well.

Unfortunately, that skin does not do a whole lot for me either, but I get the point - Fire and Ice - one half looks like fire the other like ice.

Good luck with your product!

I wouldn't say that GUI will appeal to everyone but it will certainly appeal to some. At first look I thought the WTF is that, not a reaction of dislike but the WS gui I had seen on his site was really cool, but I like the dark and brooding over the color and bright.

Anyway, I feel motivated to address the nasty comments made above toward Limeflavor and all I can say, with all my heart and mind is, STFU!

Check out his webpage posted above Limeflavor is really good at this.

I've also wondered what happened to Scott Kane, perhaps he found work somewhere else. Artist they can be so erratic.

I am awaiting SuperCore and don't rate the Limeflavor GUIs at all. I love some of the work that White-Tie has done for Stillwell/Schwa.

Above, I found a page with a few links to a few different designers!

EDIT: Just looking over some of Scott's work and it really is top notch. I hope you manage to get in contact!

Look what Limeflavour has done for Blue Cat's Stereo Chorus:

Now go look at Stereo Chorus default skin to see the magnitude of improvement Limeflavour brought to that plugin. :hihi:

just to note, thats exactly the way i wanted the skin to look.

Bright acid Hardcore f**king Raver style.

( the fire soundset is Acid House ( 1988 )

i could have just gone for a wooden box effect though, with metal knobs.

Anyway it only took 3 days to knock up.

why try to look like every other skin on the planet.

:)

So your potential customers can use the plugin for more than five minutes without sustaining damage to the optic nerve? :hihi:

I was hoping to do this with some pomp and circumstance, but screw it.

Here is a screenshot to the CONCEPT - no actual skin:

Now you can see why I want Scott Kane to finish this - IT'S AWESOME WORK!

The synth is 100% finished. I am just waiting for the skin to be finished (and I have to create presets).
