I'm working on a workaround for that.

Thanks,

OK, thanks, Andrea. I'll wait for your new nki file (update patch) then.

Hehehe, I fixed it myself. Now the volume of the release samples reduces depending on how long I hold the keys. It's much better now!

Cheers!

Can you share how you did it?

I guess it involves modulating the volume of the release samples by sustain time, or something?

No problem!

1) Load guitar Pettinhouse (Steel or Nylon). Open editor. On top you find 'Source'. Add a value to "t(ms)". I used 8000. Use lower numbers if you want a quicker decrease of volume.

2) Lower in the editor you find 'Amplifier'. Open 'Add modulator'. In 'External Sources' you need to select "rls. trig. Counter". Make sure the slider of the "rls. trig. counter" is at 100%.

So, that's it! Simple and efficient!

Which version of Kontakt? My editing skills within Kontakt are not there yet! :? I clicked on the tools icon but I didn't see any of the stuff you mentioned. The instructions you gave seem very easy to follow...Maybe Andrea will provide a patch soon!
