I have always been a sucker for deals, but this is ridiculous.

I'm loving the fact that it's his birthday, yet WE get the presents! HAPPY 40th!

I was 39.5 yesterday Happy Birthday, Aaron! I've just bought 3 additional libraries to the one I bought last weekend and I especially LOVE the WICKED guitar. So natural, so many articulations and ways of playing! And the string slide is excellent!

Anyone else having trouble 'unRARing' the Intimate Dreadnought Guitar? I get 2 errors pop up at about 95% completeion.

I have an unzipped folder of 400mb in size (as a result in 'My account' at LD where the download link is) it states it as 499mb.

The folder i have only has One .nki as well (fingernail)

I have shot them an email about this, i just wondered if anyone else has had issues. All the other (6) downloads unzipped (and work...) flawlessly: except iG1.rar (Dreadnought)

I tried downloading it again and this time it seems to be the full content. Just under a gig. 0.97gb

In any case its loading up now, so just one of those things i reckon.

By the way - can anyone help me with these Lyrical Distortion sets. Im 'trying' to make the envelopes of the Guitars longer - as in sustain/release more. Ive tried tweaking the Volume AHDSR in the individual instruments, but that didnt seem to do a lot.

I want my Acoustic plucks to 'last' a bit longer thats all. Im still getting to grips with Kontakt so patience is very much appreciated!

Hello Everyone,

I caught a nasty bug this week, so there isn't a new $10 library for this Friday.

However, we left the $10 libraries up all week because every time we went to turn the sale off, there was always a crowd in there buying stuff.


So on that note, We shall leave the $10 libraries up for this weekend as well.

As a frequent buyer of the $10 Friday extravaganzas, and observing their success, I would comment that it is much easier as a buyer to come up with a small amount ($10) every week, and enjoy the anticipation and fun of finding out what it is, downloading it and having a play, than it is to come up with $279 once for a large lump of stuff that you may never have the time to really get to terms with. I think LD can count this a success and maybe other sample vendors could learn a thing or two here also.
Well done folks - I think the idea is a winner and I just hope you can continue to meet the demand for new and interesting samples.

A big +1 to both of Rathead's posts. $10 is like... your average lunch these days. Or... a week's worth of those $2 coffees in the morning. I'd much rather put the money towards a cool library every week and make the coffee myself.

Hmm... Aaron has a birthday, we all benefit. Aaron gets sick, we all benefit. This is certainly a great opportunity for those who missed out last weekend. Do feel better though!
