Thanks for the vote, but mostly grats on winning the May contest!

Well deserved and now I bet you will be even more busy playing with Alchemy which I'm sure you chose as your price? :D
You are clairvoyant :D
Thanks, V'ger! I watch closely your creativity. Bravo, maestro!

Aaah, it's good to see you guys have been busy keeping this thread rockin :)

Got the StringZ e-album finished at last .... nice to see I have some votes to count up :) .... though, sadly, none for me yet :( ... Ach but no probs, if I wanted to be popular, I wouldn't have spent half my life playing punk gigs at 50p per gig ... minus expenses :hihi:

I'll do a count up as soon as I can grab a minute ... and minutes should be a lot more grabbable now the StringZ e-album is done :o

I was amazed at all the entries, and how you all controlled the synth so well.

Flexture - XGmode - 10
Tunguska - V'ger - 7
Drunkdelia - uiiuiiu - 5
MOTION - Mac_of_BIOnighT - 3
Out of the Blue into Thin Air - Yeager - 1

Post

Thanks for the vote, MIke :)
I was surprised, too - I just didn't think any of you could squeeze any nice sound out of Texture, but you guys most definitely did :o

Post

Well, I completely missed the deadline just by ... I dunno ... having a boring web designer life - But I was also not very convinced by my efforts.

Here's the track anyway.

Comments most welcome.

Maybe it can supplement the album?

Part of me is also not very competitive, but the good thing about this comp is that you know at least 15 people are regularly listening to your music.

:o Why didn't you enter it, Objectman? It's fantastic!!

Post

I didn't submit because I was gonna rework it the night before. Then forgot and just missed the deadline.

4. Drunkdelia - uiiuiiu ... 1, 3, 10, 5 = 19
5. Flexture - XGmode ... 3, 10 = 13

7. The Age of Analog Communication - Mike777 ... 3
8. Blender B - dwsel ... 1
Blender A - Dwsel ... 0
Escape from The Asylum - Mike777 ... 0
Hyper Kaos dawn - Abstractcats ... 0
Nilbog Convert - Hivefleet Megalon ... 0
Rosemary's Redheaded Stepchild - Mrblitz000 ... 0
The Allosaurus problem - Hivefleet Megalon ... 0
Uh Oh Here comes Trouble - Tattiemannie ... 0

( Total voters: 5, total votes 130 )

... Hmmm it's all looking rather uncomfortably familiar up top :help:

Objectman, no probs including you track on the e-album .... however, its gonna be a lot of work doing a 16 track e-album :-o ... the way everything has to be connected up commands-wise, the work for each additional track is like a multiple of all pre-existing tracks ... however, there is a way out .... a self contained double album ( 2 x 8 tracks ) is well possible :) .... and prob much easier .. I'll see how I go. :)

Post

My apologies, no time for comments :(
Here's my votes:

10 points - The Age of Analog Communication - Mike777 (which goes to prove I'm an idiot, 'cause with my vote he moves ahead of me... :( )

7 points - Uh Oh Here comes Trouble - Tattiemannie

5 points - Out of the Blue into Thin Air - Yeager

3 points - Rosemary's Redheaded Stepchild - Mrblitz000

1 point - Tunguska - V'ger

Dinnertime and then some more work to do :( :(

Great tracks everyone, anyway, wish I could have included all of us (myself, too, what the heck ;-) )!!

Post

wow thanks Mac of BIOnight! you made me laugh! I move ahead of you by only 1 point, still I know it's gotta hurt a bit, so deep thanks from me. Great work on Motion.

Mike, your track is so very delicate and melancholic and optimistic and a bit sad and... lots of things, really. All that, plus the fact you got such delicate sounds out of such a harsh sounding vst, and what else could I do?

Post

Escape from the Asylum, Mike777 -- 10
Here Comes Trouble, Tattiemannie -- 7
Flexture, XGmode -- 5
Drunkdelia, Uiiuiiu -- 3
Blender A, Dwsel -- 1

This is - by far - the toughest part of these kinds of contests; voting.

Honourable mentions all around...

Thanks for the votes guys :)

NA2SC will be launched early next week.

Eddy, agreed that that's an awesome track! It seems like it dances somewhere about the boundary between sound effects and musicality. It's definitely got an 'atmosphere' all its own.
