Are you hell bent on getting everything?

Ah, see? This is your (my?) problem. I never ask this question. It's a silly question. I know the answer is always "no." However, when I see something like, for instance the Tassman sale. $99. I start messing with the demo. Good sounding but nothing... oh wait... that bow module!bluedad wrote:When I'm tempted to buy a new bit of gear, I now think to myself, will this help me in producing music?
At this point, I think I may already have all the commercial VA plug ins... honestly. It's sick... I know. I can't for the life of me think of one I'd get rid of. Then I'll get a bee in my bonnet about some tiny nuance of a sound... how to I get that... (last time it led to a hardware mono synth)

It takes time, hard work and patience. (I've been at this for 30 years!)lotus2035 wrote:I'm hell bent on imagining I can afford everything.

HI, SZURCIO!!!!!
Yeah, we're all sick here.
I always build a little list of stuff to get, but it doesn't stay little for long.
Something new always creeps around the corner and surprises me.
The act of using new toys can be very inspirational -- which, to me, is part of the problem.
I already have PLENTY o' crap. And really, I'm not bored with ANY of it!!!
But so much new crap just seems so freakin' good -- and these developers have these generous demos -- and I just... can't... er-uhhhhhh... reSISSSsssSST--

Been there, done that. I'm just waiting for one more plugin to be released and then I'm done. Not getting anything new, just updates.
