I have to go with the one I keep listening to. My kid sister showed me what dub-step is, and this is a really interesting take on that type of music. The drum sounds are great, and that LFO bass... yeah, I like everything about this track.
7 - All Aboard the Fish no Chips - OSCXVII - Yeager
what can I say about this one... awesome. All it needs is some forgotten big-haired New Romantic singer from the 80's crooning about love in the age of robots, or something to do with Berlin, and it would be right at home on MTV circa 1985
6 - sunflower-deadeddy
not at all what I would have expected. Well done! who takes a chip-tune inspired synth and makes sinister sounding ambient soundscapes with it?
And good ambient music, too. Even harder.
4 - Flea Festival - tattiemannie
really well written and produced madness which makes my foot tap all by itself.
2 - FightForLove-Mulperi
well done, if I had more points left I would surely give them to you. This is quite well crafted.
Quality work everyone

An absolute winner. There is something in this classic rock solo, its sound and progressions that makes me wanna cry like a schoolgirl
Rainbow Train - MickRippon 7
This is Pure Awesomeness! I wish only there >2 verses and less refrains so to say
There are some notes in the verse that give me goosebumps. Don't know how to explain it.
Fight For Love - Mulperi 5
Classic NES tune, Bionic Commando-style. Just turn the volume up and kick the shit out of neighbors!
Flea Festival - Tattiemannie 4
You've got some serious madness in your head man! Jumping notes and unusual (for me) melodies, that's what I always expect from tattiemannie.
Makrogoli - uiiuiiu 2
Deep throbbing LFO basses, deceptive simplicity and overall grinding feel of this track earn 2 points.

Wow, a very high standard again this time! Well done to all.
The following all get 3 points each, as enjoyable, well conceived and executed pieces:
All aboard the fish no chips 3
Bits and Pieces 3
Flea Festival 3
Masonbee 3
Steplton 3
This tune took me waaay back to the 80's, trying to coax 'music' out of a Commmodore 64...
Basic 64 Blues 4 points
Hot damn, this was a good one...
Rainbow train 4 points
The one I kept going back for was
Fun
which gets my top vote and 5 points.

Indeed, thanks Rathead!
I'd actually thought my own entries - when compared to the rest of the field - weren't much in comparison; so it's great to hear back that Basic 64 Blues captured a kind of 'feel.'
The composition and production values on the other entrants' pieces are through the roof.

Gonna give my votes soon, just takes a bit longer deciding the points as well as the order.

No doubt about it, there were some very polished and complete pieces on offer and I loved them too.mrblitz000 wrote:snip

Your tunes though really punched my button and were a refreshing contrast that just seemed to sit beautifully in amongst them all.
I will admit that the very high standard of entries has discouraged me a little from submitting my own pieces in the past but it sure makes for great listening!

Cheers for the votes Xichael
I've added Xichaels votes to the scoreboard, however, I dont know how to make the list re-order.
Maybe V'ger can PM me and explain?
I had hoped to do a screenshot and a commentary/status report ... will do when the scoreboard is put into order.
