This is great. It works very well, and additionaly, you can create and delete the midi ports on the fly. Great!
If you are an M-Audio usb soundcards, you will found that they have a conflict with Loopbe1. You need to uninstall the driver to make that the soundcard controlpanel initilize properly at windows startup. But with this loopmidi software, you dont have that problem. And appear to be, it works fine.

Thanks!

Yup. I've been using it for a few weeks now. Zero problems, does what it says on the tin.

I was hoping that you may be able to help or point me in the right direction. I have the following equipment that I would like to tie together and was wondering if LoopBe1, LoopBe30, MIDI Yoke, and/or MIDI OX would do the job.

Sound Sources controlled via MIDI:
- iPad 2 w/ synthesizer apps - USB MIDI using the camera kit adapter
- Yamaha Motif-Rack - USB MIDI connection

MIDI Controllers:
- Behringer FCB1010- MIDI connections using MIDI to USB cable (http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/FCB1010.aspx (http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/FCB1010.aspx) )
- Sonuus i2M audio to MIDI for my cello- USB MIDI (sonuus.com/products_i2m_mp.html )

Connecting all to a Laptop running Windows XP (is there another device that may do this?).

I would like to do the following all at the same time in a live environment, but can't noodle out how this may be done. I don't think any of the above will show up as an 'application' and will only show up as a driver.
- Control the iPad synths and Motif-Rack via MIDI from the i2M (play note and pitch bend)
- Control the iPad synths, Motif-Rack, and i2M via MIDI from the FCB1010 (program change, cc messages, play note)

Thanks for your help. Please reply to all so I get this at my home address too and let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks, Craig

Seems pretty easy, you have 3 USB drivers, so that's 3 USB ports or one hub. You didn't say how you were going to connect the FCB1010.

Where are the sounds coming from? If it's the Motif, not sure why it's plugged into the computer, you didn't mention any plugins. There's no reason for virtual midi ports, if you don't have a host you could reroute the MIDI output from all of these using MIDIOX, get a MIDI to USB adapter that has midi out.
