Pft. Still getting a real one for my birthday. Sure it won't be as nicely recorded but the physical interface is better.

As much as I appreciate sampled instruments (especially those free ones) and as much as I am into sampling, there is nothing like the real thing.
Of course, you can fix a line to sound quite realistic in a mix but is very much work, much more than if you just call someone to record the track (and again, not sounding the same).

I've tried many a time to find a half decent Bazouki but do you think I could find one up here in the GWN!? NOOOOO--so I use what I can--so there, haaarrruuuummph!!

Well, it sounds very nice in the demos for sure... but $199 for a niche instrument?

And to think I got a very good Charango and Mandolin from Lyrical Distortion for $10 each!
