I guess there are more people who want V-Station to be included. Maybe let's write few emails to Novation ? But I'm not sure what information such email should contain... any clue Tick ? :)

1. Custom / second / bigger GUI would be great for users using 1900x1200 resolution. I mean, with few synths selected, some categories added, the whole gui turns into scrolling machine ;)
I'm sure there is someone on kvr forum who can make it :)

2. How about Elektrostudio (http://elektrostudio.ovh.org/) free plugins (ie. OR2v, Sixth Month June) ?

seems small and has some curious synths...i know its new, and you hope to ad ALL synths, but i was expecting to see names like Alchemy,Omnisphere, NI stuff, Albino etc from the off....?
All synths in the current list were requested by users. As for NI stuff, as I said, NI didn't give me permission to include their factory content in Zen, since they see this as competing with Kore.
I'm wondering about this. Is it just that they don't want competition for Kore or more that they may be concerned about the security of their content? What would happen for example, if a person had a bunch of presets for say Absynth that they had downloaded from the net? (illegally or otherwise) I would assume Zen would have no way of knowing if they were legitimately owned by the person or not and could potentially add these to the database?

As far as I know, only if you have Zen Designer Key (you need to request it) you can upload presets, right ? Then it's possible to track you (if you upload something illegal) and ban ?

Yes we know that but do NI? I can see that being a concern for them.

First things first - let me release Zen. Then I'll activate V-station (I just need a fxp file) so you guys can use the free presets with it. Then you can ask Novation for permission to add the factory presets too.

It's fully skinable, so it's just a matter of making a different skin.

Should be a breeze to add. Will you tag their presets ?

Their message was very clear, and it wasn't about protecting their content:
NI Legal wrote:As you are obviously already aware such an application, as planned by you, might interfere with some of the products we already have in the market. Therefore, we hope you understand, we are at this point of time not able to support you and your project.

Yes it is possible to:
- track you
- ban you
- globally remove the offending content

Any chance getting discoDSP Discovery onboard? 40 banks of presets and a bit of organization of the banks would be helpful.

In addition, Vaz2Plus would be another that I could see benefiting.

And Vaz Modular, this would be very useful for the Vaz range.

Yes ! All the discodsp, wusik and vaz synths are next in line.

Post

Just added Discovery, Discovery Pro, Phantom, EVE and VAZ+.
VAZ modular and Wusikstation don't play nicely with Zen, I'm checking this with Martin and William.

 I will check what's going on later this week...

Discovery and Discovery Pro are now supported, but keep in mind that because some of these banks are for registered users only, they can't be uploaded in Zen.
