Chord Memory has been popular in electronic music since it was first introduced in an analog hardware Synthesizer. I think it was Roland's Juno 60 that first had this feature.
You select a chord, activate chord memory and then you can play the chord with 1 finger. You just have to play the base note and the keyboard adds the other notes.....
Isn't that something like this?

Hi WOK, thank you for your response!

I now all of your mentioned Plugs but the main idea isn't covered by them. I want to record a chord by myself several times for example only with a different octave on the fundamental tone. Best way should be: Have a nice chord from jamming, record to one key (midinote or drumpad or..), again jamming, record and so on... than jamming with extraordinary cool chords that no one could play in realtime (obviously not me) and have some nice melodies on top of it. So the main point is the immediate availability of several of your just played and recorded chords with the touch of one or another key. So the Plugin has to store some Midi events for triggering in a lower oktave for example. This is crazy stuff for jamming and new melody or song ideas...! OK, talking about me

I think it was the Korg Mono/Poly which had the first chord memory. Software version has it too.

Brok is correct, as usual. The 'as played' mode is extra cool, as it transforms the arpeggiator into a real time step sequencer of sorts! :)

I will try to implement this in the later, bigger version.

Here's a good demonstration of what the Korg M50 does and how simple Rich assign's these.. watch at about 40 seconds in to video

I still can't believe there aren't more options like this in software by now,it really allows for quick idea's on the fly. Midi Learn chords for software , bump!
