it most likely has to do with ilok on mac (x64) not working. when that issue gets resolved they'll probably offer ilok as an option again.

Must admit more recently I started getting back into Nitro, downloaded the demo and it does sound good.

For me compared to Nitro and other plugins my rack, I'd be a lot happier with an upgrade to x64 for Nitro. Despite it's additional features, I'm not sure this is a good value upgrade, even at the offer price

Sure other's will disagree, for the money I'm walking by and probably...maybe if the price drops more $69 seems steep to me for this upgrade

I thought it was steep only if there's a chance the iLok option will never come back. Guess I'll take a chance and decide if it is worth $99 because that's what it will cost if/when iLok option comes back.

Demo thoughts...
Much easier to tweak than before. Just three screens but as much as I like N2O it might be too similar to Nitro for me at this time. X64 support is great and N20 is definitely easier to use (more logical) but not much else that is different IMO. I also would have just liked to have an x64 version of Nitro as the differences IMO between N20 and Nitro in use are very little IMO.

Lovely plugs but...I might side step N20 for now. Jbridge works very well with Nitro for x64 use currently. I would probably get N20 if I did not have Nitro already but they are very similar plugs IMO.

I am a bit surprised at the level of similarity after a demo of both plugs side by side.

I love PSP's work but I guess I expected something more from N20.

Sounds very good - however, rather expensive for the new (Nitro) library
which is really is, other feature are cosmetic (yes, you can tweak effects and different parameters but how much do you wan't to with the filter if the presets are good). H.

i can't understand you guys,this thing is one of the best multi-fx at the moment..just mention 1 better ( multi) fx ..my guess is that everybody will fall over this thing the coming months...presets are fantastic too

Demoed it. The compression algorithm in N20 looks like it uses about 5x the CPU as The Glue. That was enough for me to toss it into the recycle bin.

You are right, as said, sound is very good, includes some exellent presets -
I think that the complain is mostly about that Nitro owners had hoped a better upgrade deal because upgrade it is. H.

Oh yes, Spectrum Worx 2 demo is in my vst folder and I'll be getting at the end of the week, I love it so far and the N20 up grade seems steep.

One huge criticism I have for psp nitro plug is this:

Some of the presets nearly blew out my monitors and my ears. It doesn't make me happy at all. How do you come up with these presets? Do you just use a randomizer without checking the results? Very disappointing and makes your plugin a danger to use.

Everytime I change a preset in nitro, my heart skips a beat thinking the preset is gonna spike my monitors. It really kills the creative flow if i have to turn down the monitors everytime i switch presets.

So, atleast in this version - please do THOROUGH testing of your presets and switch between them to make sure that they don't kill the customer's monitors.
