:)
It depends of the code base.

If Logics drops support for 32-bit plugins, shit's gonna hit the fan for a lot of people, unless vendors wake up and start porting their code to 64-bit...

It's not like Logic is the most used DAW ever, but a fair lot of people does use it, and a fair lot of people will be very pissed at some vendors if they don't tune in to 64-bit world. See the unsatisfaction at XLN Audio forums when they decided not to port Addictive Drums to 64-bit for Mac, "because Logic's bit bridge works well", and some other reasons (mainly the difference between the codebase they use and Cocoa that came later, which basically means a lot of code rewrite).

no news about 64 :( lector users happier than largo users or PPG users
Addictive Drums at least a 64 bit beta version for windows :)

Additional 64-bit updates for Waldorf plugins are in development now. Not allowed to tell more details at this moment.

Any updates for Largo at all? Like making the GUI similar to Lector? More darkish like (sometimes it's annoying to work with it hours and hours just because it is a bit bright)

Bring us the Largo update! :phones:

One hint:
The 64-bit Beta which was running now was for more than one plugin but did not include Largo so far...

There is not much more to come. It is a shame that Waldorf is not taking care of its customers. There are no real forums, support request will not be answered. The others can do better. :(

There IS. But not for Largo, at least not yet.

Next one is a 64-bit update for the Waldorf Edition which is 3 plugins at once. Should be released very soon.

x64 Native for the old Waldorf Edition but not the 3.V?

Sounds logical for me. First start with the older ones and then do the newer plugins too. Including Lector 4 of 6 Waldorf plugins will be 64-bit now.

Maybe with doing those 4 plugins in 64-bit it should be easier to do the same for the remaining two (Largo + PPG 3.V).

I'm sorry to contradict you, but I recently had a very prompt and courtesy reply from Waldorf Support when inquiring on a Mac OS X Lion compatible update to Waldorf Edition. A download link and new serial number for authorization were provided in short order. I do hope they provide an updater for 64-bit.
