Seriously, I don't know why I'm so pissed off at this!
I agree! As a Windows user I think it's disgraceful!! :x

Who developed this thing? He should be dealt with accordingly!! :smack:

Oh, erm, it was me

Actually it's just how things came together, we'd set a date (the Touch Digital guys have invested a lot of money and really needed it released) and then some beta testers finally woke up and told us about some small problems, the mac ones were reported first and were easier to sort out.

Ironic since most of the time the windows version has been done first.
Shame on you :hihi: :hihi: When do we get a windows version John? Or better still you could sub me for a mac lol.
Really hope there's a windows version soon

Hey, as a longtime mac user, welcome to OUR world!

Make sure to charge more for the PC version too, something else we got to live with for a LONG time!

I own ImpOSC1 (old time user) and gave a try to version 2.
ImpOSC2 is much better sounding but very CPU heavy

It's heavyish in the unison patches compared to the imp1, because every note is replicated, but I don't expect it's heavy compared to other synths doing the same thing.

but the unison patches definitely increase the difference from version 1

Wow that sucks.
GForce Media, doesn't except Paypal or Shareit.
CC only?
That just sucks imo.
Wake up!!!
:x
I qualify for the upgrade special price too.
No paypal or shareit equals MANY lost sales for GForce Media.
I got my original from JRR Shop, but you can only get the upgrade from GForce.
Jon, can you help me out please, I wanna start doing a bank of sounds for this asap.

Well, yes, obviously

It's a full unison, multiple voices playing at once, detuned, panned.. that's oscillators, LFOs, envelopes, filters etc.

So if you have 8 voice poly unison then for every key you press, it's like you pressed 8 of them, that's going to chew the power up.

Unfortunately, I've found that if you give unison to patch developers they feel compelled to use it on everything, it's quite depressing really, I work hard to optimize code to use less CPU use, and they reach straight for the unison knob and chew it up again.
