You can still use the older one if you still have the 2.09 installer - just replace the skin/ folder with the older one.

I'll look into your account problem in a second.

I LOVE the new skin, don't miss the old one at all!

[SOLVED] I've most of Daniel's extra banks, but in 2.1 only the factory bank is shown.
How can I access these?

Move them (as well as the associated vfs files) into the new folder (see above).

The new skin is based on my alloy skin.
Check the latest version herefor an alternative.
And thanks for the update Patrice!

How accurate is the Rhino Sysex import to the DX7?
Intel Core2 Quad CPU + 4 GIG RAM

Post

Very accurate for some presets, not so for others. In any case, you usually will want to tweak the imported sounds a bit, since Rhino gives you so much more flexibility than the original DX.

Hm, I think that info is for WinXP. Anybody have any idea what the exact folders and locations are for Win7?
Big Tick wrote:Most probably, because it now stores all data files in
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Big Tick\Rhino
or
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Big Tick\Rhino
, depending on your system (32/64 bits).

This is where your keyfile should go. I will update the manual accordingly.

Here is the complete and accurate information:

For Windows XP, C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Big Tick\Rhino
For Vista and Win7, C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Big Tick\Rhino
For Mac, ~/Library/Application Support/BigTick/Rhino

For OSX 10.7 (Lion) you will need to make this directory visible, by typing the following command in a terminal:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/

Thanks, Tick! Looks like I have it working now and all my sound banks back as well. <phew!>
