My 500 mb Absynth update took 5 min.....
I was here first, so I think you should all queue behind me.
How I wish I had that old Jet download thingy.

It's it just me, or when watching the vid, did anyone-else flash on that super-cool table-synth thingy, that you move cubes around on, and it lights-up as they are connected, and makes all kinds of cool but generally disjointed noise(s) relative to WHO is playing with it?
THIS seems to make very smooth transitions, AND cool noise.

Presumably the server is near collapsing as all are storming in to grab it now ...

Everybody DID "queue" behind you.osiris wrote:I was here first, so I think you should all queue behind me.
I feel like I'm stuck behind one of "those people" with an overflowing shopping-cart at the check-out stand, who waits 'til everything is rung-up, before they even start to dig through their humongous purse/backpack, to pull out their checkbook, and THEN start filling in their details - veeerrrrrrrry ssssloooooowllllly.

maybe someone who has it already will ask Hermann and mirror it - for example to:
http://www.multiupload.com or similar.

I find it more interesting that so far NOONE made a connection with Steinberg, since "PLEX" was originaly sold through Steinberg! But as you know the Steiny's, they pretty much dropped everything that was not coded "in house" and so it got abandonned (like a lot of other great tools my them).
It's very, very, VERY generous from Mr Palm to offer this thing for free, even if it's Win only (sorry Mac people, but you still have Logic).
The Waldorf Edition got revived with the "Waldorf Collection" (though no A1). I just wish the same would happen with Virtual Guitarist.

Thank you for hosting this, btw.arakula wrote:Go ahead...osiris wrote:Someone could do this legend a favor and host this on a faster server.
if not, you'd do me a big favor if you all stopped riding a DOS attack on my little server and queued up nicely instead

I hope it's worth it. The Alchemy Free took almost as long, but it was well worth it. I remember demoing Plex a LONG time ago and not being very impressed except for one sound. This is new, I guess because it doesn't look like what I remember. I also can't remember if you can load your own waves. I guess I'll know in 7 hours....
