I was simply saying, many people claim to be producing "this hit band" or "that hit band" and then you check and they aren't even on Wikipedia. Once anything becomes popular it gets a Wikipedia page.

And like if somebody were to create a Wikipedia page for the "Mr. Rally" band, (which somebody did according to the archives) but then Wikipedia went back and deleted it, because it was probably somebody from the band themselves that created the page.

I'm not sure how Wikipedia does it but you can't just make your own page, you have to actually be somebody important or something. Does anybody know how that works? Like if I made a Wikipedia page for myself as a musician, it would be deleted. But if I sold a bunch of records and somebody else made the Wikipedia page, it would stay up. There's some sort of litmus test they have which actually works.

They have a counter that provides information about your sales and also about google search requests and youtube clicks. But it is also used to create a score for the person who writes the article. If you are important enough, the entrance may stay in, after another computer programm checked the quality of the text.
