Hi guys,

I too am trying to understand the more complex features of panel objects like switches. In the SoundSchool synthesiser (classic instruments: synthesisers), two switches are used within its filter module. Only one of these is being displayed on the panel interface. But the 2nd one (that is hidden) is the one which receives the outputs from the filter modules. It seems that the 1st switch is controlling the 2nd (hidden) so you hear the selected output. I'm not sure why? would be the right question here, but HOW?

There are no IC Send/IC Receive modules in sight, but the two switches are talking to eachother (somehow) because I can see "To" & "From" infomation displayed in their respective properties windows.

I have read the entire Reaktor manual on anything to do with internal connections and Midi & OSC, but still having some problems with reverse engineering this filter. Please someone enlighten me![/img]

I came up with a complete back-assward solution to this - probably not optimimum, but it works.

I wanted to be able to "steer" 3 oscillators, 1 RM and a noise source between 2 filters to allow different programming options.

So I mutilated the Reaktor > Building Blocks > Amps and Mixers > Pan Amp to just be a panner, set the range of the panner to -1/+1 with 2 steps, step size 1.

So hard left = -1, routes signal to Filter 1.
Hard right = 1, routes the signal to Filter 2.

Like I said, probably retarded, definitely inelegant, but it does work.

Stole the concept from Gabriel Landini's Syndream in SynCModular.
