Hypnotic ….
Hmmm..... As soon as I saw this theme announced I thought … this is going to be full of entries from those 'synth-ists' with their quantizing and pads and sweeps and effects … so I thought I would go 'minimal'.

One mouth and one instrument.
Vocal 'click-clack' shoved through CamelPhat to give the clock tick. All else from Dean acoustic baritone guitar.

First submission in a LOOOOONNNGG time.

This is all improvisation on the iPhone Alchemy Mobile app, free version. Several tracks - 3 different beats, 5 non-beat tracks. Very difficult to play the teeny tiny keyboard on this thing, but as I was messing around with Alchemy tonight, I realized that some would interpret this as hypnotic - so, I recorded a bunch of improv on Alchemy Mobile, which really begs improv in a non-keyboard way. Then I mixed by panning and volume enveloped the whole thing. Only plugin is FinalMix from Tracktion. Artwork is a screenshot of the tracks in Tracktion, with some photoshoppy kind of filtering in paint.net.

Effects:
Uhbik, Aether, FabFilter Saturn, ProQ, ProC, ProG, Studio One native effects (compressor, EQ), and my new TRacks3 for mastering.
