I like FL FX, although I don't use them now as I'm waiting for FL to go x64 (so I can use all their stuff in Cubase).
There's a 'fun factor' to all the FL stuff that just can't be denied. Are there more expensive 'precision' FX out there? Sure. I have a bunch of those. But the FL stuff gives you a different flavor. Not bad, just different.
I particularly like the EQ for quick fixes because the interface is so easy to use. It lets you know in a very visual way where you are on the spectrum. Again, there may be higher quality EQ's out there, but if you can't use them properly, they're worthless.
Really looking forward to 64 bit FLS. C'mon guys. I miss your stuff.
Cheers

Do you think the fx that are coded into the synths are the FL fx, or standalone?
I say this because some of their synths sound so freakin phat, so I wonder why they wouldn't port the fx for use in projects.

All of gol's synths(Sytrus, Ogun, Harmless/Harmor) use the same effects(Fruity Flangus, Fruity Reeverb, Soundgoodizer), Sytrus' waveshaper is also the same one in Love Philter. One exception being the Harmor distortion not existing as a separate effect yet
