Check out the demos on my website, not because I want you to buy anything (you don't have the synths yet) but because they are unprocessed and even unmixed and will give you a feel for different synth characters.
The latest demo I have on for DIVA is in a mix to give more context.
Its on soundcloud but its better to download it or listen on my website because soundcloud has really poor sound quality.

Dude seriously im only 13, and plus im not going to quote "copycat" Avicii, Im just insterested in making my own loops using an analog patch that has been around FORVER. If you don't belive me listen to sandstorm. Also, im looking for REAL answers, not just crappy insight.ksandvik wrote:If you want to become a pro, you should learn to make your own sounds so you are unique and not a copycat.

Sylenth then. There's many quality soundbank for sylenth and since you're young i'm guessing you don't really want to do sound design and the presets in sylenth are quality for this kind of music. You can always get it with educational discount or secondhand at kvr marketplace. The rest of the budget you can use to buy good sounding soundbanks. My other suggestion is massive also due to the abundance of quality soundbank.
I also don't get suggestion like zebra, alchemy, diva, twin 2. A lot of time the synth that you like is not the synth that the OP needed. The OP already mention he doesn't want to do sound design, he only need synth with a lot of mainstream patches available.

Well in that case, then what are you doing suggesting Sylenth. A synth that has hardly any free presets. At least Zebra has thousands, and they're of good quality, and lots of variety.xamido wrote: I also don't get suggestion like zebra,... diva. Diva also comes with more presets for free than Sylenth.
So what's your point with that statement?
I thought not.
Not only that. The life of Sylenth, looks to be limited to the near future only.
Where as Diva, and Zebra, are just beginning to live.

Really? You need to ask? He's a beginner, he don't need fancy sound design synth. I answer what he ask while people like you continue to be a snob and make fun of everything non u-he. The level of fanboys is strong in this one.mcnoone wrote:Well in that case, then what are you doing suggesting Sylenth. A synth that has hardly any free presets. Now go play that one finger repeating saw arp, with super saw attached Sylenth synth (with noob programming technology) while you still can.
Those commercial sylenth soundbanks have the kind of sound that the OP needs. Hardly any free preset? Google sylenth free preset and check the plentiful amount of it. There's even many youtube video with the kind of sound that the OP wants that provides the preset freely.
Open your eyes, most of the so called 'producer' uses sylenth. They make money with it and their music is heard by millions. Last time i check that's the dream for some people, who are you to dismiss people who likes to use sylenth. I don't see your name on computer music or future music video.
Possible answer from you :
1. I'm a noob.
2. Those producer are noob.
3. Sylenth are for noob.
4. People are noob for listening to those producer garbage music.
5. Future music and computer music are noob.

It's possible that he doesn't want to sound like most producers.xamido wrote: Those commercial sylenth soundbanks have the kind of sound that the OP needs. Maybe he wants to sound like himself...maybe something new.
I wouldn't have said anything either if you didn't start it with that jabble babble about what is a good or bad suggestion. Especially about presets, cuz that's just nonsense.

And what nonsense, sylenth have way more mainstream soundbank than zebra. That's a fact.
Anyway i'm out, if there's a lesson i've learn from kvr is that once u-he fanbois arrive, it's better for me to just leave the thread.

You don't get other peoples suggestions?
People can suggest whatever they want.
Who are you to tell us what is right or wrong to suggest?
