I trust the next free EEG update will have pattern record and piano roll edit directly in Kontakt?

Seriously, stop putting all your time and effort into major free updates for existing products (did you hear that, fence sitters? major free updates!!!) and get on with producing killer new instruments so that I can give you more of my money!

Yes. Thanks for the new vids. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves to see what this puppy can really do.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions about my original question:

The strum trigger note is the lowest on the keyboard, and my keyboard doesn't have enough keys, making performance difficult. Is there a way to re-assign this to another key?

Thanks all.

Of course it's possible, you can choose which octave you want your 12 strum keys to be.

Mapping -> Strum Patterns -> Octave knob.

However, I think you'll still have to have some compromises no matter which way you turn it. How many keys does your controller have? Doesn't it have octave up/down buttons?

It's a 73 key controller. Should be plenty, right? I just need one octave. But the octave controller will reassign the entire instrument up the keyboard, no? I just want to re-assign the one key. I'll fool around with this when I get back in the studio tonight.

It just struck me as odd that this would be the default choice for performance when most controllers are 61 or less.

No... please read the manual! The "Octave" knob on "Mapping" -> "Strum Patterns" page will only change the location of the 12 strum keyswitches. You cannot reassign each strum key individually, though.

Oooof this seems sick, looks like I won't be buying new headphones :hihi:

Ok I've a silly question concerning all the crossgrade/discount stuff.

Does the crossgrade (I have Shreddage for example) stack with the current 'until May 31st' discount? Or is it 139$ either way?

I'm considering maybe getting this together with steel strings.
In process of making music that reeks of turd

Another thanks from me for the new videos :tu:

I love this new system; incorporating all the others into one leaves no confusion as to what 'engine' I should be using.

The auto-detect chords is an awesome way to jam. Makes EEG much more playable to someone of my 'skillz'

That ability to record strums is great -- makes the instrument so very expandable. I wonder if a user-created strum exchange might emerge. That would be be awesome, because -- even though it only requires 2 fingers -- I can never maneg to "keyboard strum" very well myself -- just a klutz I guess. I for one in fact would be willing to pay for some well-done patterns, especially arpeggiations. RealGuitar has some nice ones, but the instrument itself only sounds so-so.

By the way, will the upcoming acoustic version you're working on would be able to play the strums which come with, or are created using, Strawberry?
