A caval donato non si guarda in bocca :D

This is an old italian saying that could be translated more or less like this: 'If someone gives you a horse as a gift you shouldn't look in its mouth'

It's funny that even in free high quality products there is always someone that has something to complain (I'm not referring in particular to you, synchro but more in general). I have nothing against it but it sounds odd to me..

BTW 'hiss' maybe is the wrong word; yes if I pay a looot of attention I can notice something like a -60 noise floor that can be easily cut with an hipass filter (I really don't feel the need to do so, anyway) but I'm actually not able to hear any hiss on a sound whose lowest note has harmonics above 8000 Hz

Thank you wavesfactory for this precious gift!

For reference, I re-rendered my track without the mechanical noise in the background.

Thanks for the wonderful instrument. I post it also in my thread of freebies on AJ :)

Thankyou for the free musicbox instrument.
It sounds really good -There is something quite spooky about old music boxes.

I love the organic nature of it's sound-It seems lots of producers today think sounds should be ultra clean and without some background 'noise'(I don't even think noise is the right word because the word noise sounds negative and there is nothing negative about this little instrument,it sounds great).
I say some real world 'noise' makes all the difference and adds to the realism of something.
I'm still playing your tape piano instrument which is great.

Cheers,
Steve
