For me, once I get my "general" sound how i like it, I then start to shape it into what i want it to be with the effects., and please... if you don't got anything good to say, then go spam your pointless rants in some other posts. k, thx, bye.
Everyone in this thread, had something good to say, and tried to help you with the OP, just because it wasn't what you wanted to hear, you call em pointless rants?
Seems like the only one with nothing good to say is you, as you could have thanked people for trying to help you, instead of insulting them.
What I stated is true.
Trance/dance sounds, are everywhere.
The way to make them bigger is in learning automation technique, using arps, midi loops, and effects.
The base sounds are mostly very similar, and simple to create, or very available in many synths or soundsets.
That's not a rant, but an honest observation.

itsNano, folks are only trying to help you. So how about showing a little consideration.
you might try reading the forum rules.

i wasn't talking to those that were sharing good info, but to those who were just saying random things about me lol. by "rants" i meant hating on me or just stating the obvious. I wasn't calling all of your replies pointless.

Are you going to share some of your 'non-basic' techniques with us then (as you said you would in the opening post), given that you now feel that you've gained some 'good info' from this thread and people like myself have said complimentary things about your music?

itsNano wrote:Hello forum, I'm looking for some of the best EDM sound designers on this forum to show me what you can do. In this topic I was hoping for us to discuss some "non-basic" techniques to make those "big room" synths, leads, plucks, etc. Perhaps things such as certain effects, lfo modulations, multiband compression, etc. Let us know how you do things and I'll share some of the techniques that I personally use to produce some of my sounds ;)
Maybe it was the "looking for the best EDM sound designers on this forum" message that is kinda odd. I'm mean will "not the best" be okay?
Listening to your sc page, and it sounds good to me.

What synths do you use besides Massive?
I have done quite a lot of edm sounds, and can attempt to share some methods used.
