My bootcamp windows partition is still reeling from Augur, lost all audio output after some crazy crashes...

Of course, you always may run 15-days fully functional demo of Minimoog from Arturia to compare...
Arturia has some nice manual for his own Minimoog, some presets and other stuff http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/pro ... urces.html
I hope you have some fun.

Haha, I know what you mean. I haven't let myself even load Skyrim in almost 3 months. But even with the ability to run that game on mostly High settings, I can get maybe 3 instances of 32x Oversampled MiniMogue going before I have all kinds of dropout and underruns popping up. Not much one can do with only 3 even with the polyphony ;pgorgorgathgorgorgor wrote: Too bad my rig is too old to run Skyrim...of course then I definitely wouldn't have time to do the OSC
But for rendering patterns to clips or mixing down your final projects (this goes to everyone) I HIGHLY recommend setting this to 32x.
Dunno if it's my host or the addon, but I have noticed toggling this setting (as well as adjusting other settings) tends to cause other MiniMogue instances I have up to get screwy...Has anyone else noticed this? I haven't really isolated the problem so if I figure it out I'll report back.
EDIT:
Well, it seems when that problem occurs (everything was getting strange digital harmonic type effects) all I have to do is drop the offending instance down to a lower oversampling rate, then raise it back to 32x. I guess it's just unstable with my hardware setup. All the more reason to get into a workflow of bouncing everything to audio clips, something I managed to completely avoid last month

Having problems with this synth, i still don't know what special thing people see on this one.
Crashing, FL Studio errors, Synthedit timeout when suspend error, presets which don't want to load (doesn't sound), CPU peaks when opening new instances...
Anyway i will try it, but i lost all my patterns, automations for now... And is not funny, to be honest...
Even with the multicore option deactivated, still giving me problems...

Are you sure you're using the very latest version?
@Skyzone: Did you have any trouble in FL?

Yes, i downloaded yesterday or past yesterday, but the thing is, the another old version i had never gave me a problem before.V'ger wrote:Are you sure you're using the very latest version?
I think has something in common with the oversample feature, because is the newest thing...
I even didn't know that it was synthedit... Now i start to understand why people don't like too much synthedit.
I fixed some presets which were at X4, but again, even in OFF, still giving me the same problems. And still some of them giving me the no-sound problem.
I think i'm going to render the loops into waves and continue from there. I don't have another choice.
And i got this message everytime i close FL Studio being used Minimogue VA.

At least i could reload my patterns, etc.
Thanks anyway.

Hello!
You could try to set "fixed buffers" in FL, I think that will help. I am using the second latest SE beta 1.228. We are just a couple of beta-testers, and none of us use FL, so this is valuable information for us. You can still get the old one at Glen Stegners page, and it is the link from KVR database.
Difference between VA and LUXUS.
Luxus has: Key follow knob for the decay times - possible to have shorter or longer envelopes in the upper ranges. It has stereo prosessing in the entire audio chain, with panning per oscillator+pan modulation, and left and right cutoff. And it has amp velocity.
All the best

I think this might just be CPU overload. Your CPU meter is not fast enough to display the CPU peaks, you might not notice this so well in other synths because they have higher static cpu. At 40% -50% CPU load you might in fact be overloading your CPU. To check this: Just render a project that crashes, and if the rendered file is perfect, then it was CPU overload.dwringer wrote:

Hi Gunnare, thanks for the help, i did what you said, but still the same problem anyway, is like if the project has been corrupted or something. Everytime i use Minimogue, no matter how or what, and close FL Studio, the same issue, always.gunnare wrote:Hello!

I could render the patterns to wave, and still using these instances that didn't created any problem.
The Synthedit Suspend error has dissapeared, or that seems for now.
But i still have the problem when closing FL Studio and being used Minimogue.
I will revert to the old versions, i hope the presets works for these versions and lets see...
Have a good day

Nice to see here the developer in person
I've a problem in Cubase Studio 4 on win7, LUXUS version: after some minutes the synth mutes itself; it seems it still receives midi data, but no sound at all.
I don't know if this issue is in common with the VA version, as Cubase sees the LUXUS only - I'll change the dll folder, let's see.
I'll try again disabling multicore features, and the usual troubleshooting tricks I'm used to.

That happened to me about one year ago with MiniMogue VA. I remember that i told to V'ger long time ago when doing the free synth scores sheet.bzur wrote:Nice to see here the developer in person![]()

About the old version of Minimogue, i tried it, the closing FL error dissapeared, but the presets from the project didn't load correctly, so i prefer to stomp my head against a wall with the new version and fight with the closing problem.
Have a good day.
