Funkybot, I don't mean to disappoint, but it is not AmpliTube Marshall...

It was so obvious that it was a marshall. But, unless they have fixed that annoying 3 samples latency in reaper, I'll never know

Hibidy... those 7 samples were always there, just not reported before. Turn off PDC while tracking... works just like it did before. If you can recognize 7 samples of latency, science would be experimenting on you as a freak of nature
This isn't really directed at anyone but... considering how much complaining I hear from guitarists and their latency issues... sometimes I forget to turn off PDC because I just want to jump in and play. Usually the latency is set to 256 in Reaper, depending on what I'm doing. I'll do 8th note triplet runs, 16th notes, and 32nd notes to a fast click in order to practice my timing and I can keep it up just fine. I'll then remember to turn it off minutes later and although I can feel the extremely slight difference, I've come to definitive conclusion that it's just another excuse people have
Especially considering the lag inherent in their physical rig going from pedal to pedal to switch board to kitchen sink that somehow doesn't exist since it's made of magical analog circuits and rainbows...
Hrm... maybe I should have asked my version question in a new post rather than edit. Hopefully an IK employee will look back and check *cough*
Will this amp here be factory default or contain an extra tube preamp stage?

Hibidy, we don't have access to Reaper's source code, nor do I think Cockos would appreciate us hacking it. So you're going to have to take that complaint to the source to get it fixed.
KVR members have posted a work around for Reaper's block handling of latency, where you simply set Reaper to ignore PDC on AmpliTube.

Looked back...
Like all the AmpliTube gear, this amp is factory default.
Alright, Imma lay it out. It is in AmpliTube 3.8, and it is imminent.Kontrast13 wrote:Do you guys plan to release these piece by piece like 3.7.x-onwards or as a big chunk called 3.8.0? Might be a little too revealing to answer this though, haha

Source code shmorsh code, give me perfection
@Kontrast13: Too complicated for me. I play to the tone I hear. The more I do this, the more I realize tech seems to be falling behind. I run at a buffer of 64 which is plenty good enough for my doodlings, if the timing is really off then I guess I'm screwed.
I did used to be more of the type that put the parts down w/o any fx on for a more perfect take, but I'm far removed from any delusions that it will matter here

Hey now, isn't the Vibroverb Custom a little 'modded' from the stock factory default? ;D Okay, enough hassling you guys...Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:Alright, Imma lay it out. It is in AmpliTube 3.8, and it is imminent.

I'm just excited. Nice to know it's part of A3.8. I get the feeling that some of the new stuff will be unexpected surprises alongside the things that people have been mentioning for awhile.

Nope, the '64 Vibroverb Custom comes from the factory with the MOD switch. True that it is based on Stevie Ray Vaughan's modded Vibroverb, but since Fender builds the Custom standard this way, it still counts as factory stock!
Mods done as standard to a signature series by the manufacturer still count as factory in my book...
And yes, there will certainly be a few surprises.

Silver Jubilee had silver/grey tolex, black grille cloth, and a silver faceplate, so that can't be it.

According to my records it was the middle of October that was when I got the latest stuff, so it's been a while since we've had anything new.
I was hoping for some more pedals.....stuff like the line6 echo park (pre or post!) or the boss RT-20 or maybe some keely stuff. An ibanez jemini would be FAB and I was also keen on maybe blackstar.

Ahh I wasn't even thinking of the FAT switch on the VibroKing, just the MOD switch on the Vibroverb. Same idea probably applies to both though. Anyways, just hassling you guys while I practice
I still think that switch/knob section is pretty revealing, I wonder if it stands out to anybody else

hibidy, why would we model Line6 stuff?
More importantly, why would you want that?
Do you also order a hamburger at Ruth's Chris?
There will be a clutch of new pedals, too.
Just you wait and see!
(Maybe I could post some teasers of some.)

You're right, I meant the Vibro-Verb Custom! (there is no Vibro-King Custom.)Kontrast13 wrote:Ahh I wasn't even thinking of the FAT switch on the VibroKing, just the MOD switch on the Vibroverb. Same idea probably applies to both though. Anyways, just hassling you guys while I practice

It's the Vibro-Verb that has the standard SRV mod. I mixed up my Vibros. I hate it when that happens.
