Hi mate,

Well to be honest i haven't used the D16 reverb fx plugin however i do have the Waves Trueverb and another IR Waves reverb and to be really straight to the point here i would say that the ValhallaRoom plugin is the best of them all it's a simple as that. $50 for a plugin this good??? Im kicking myself i never bought this one before now. I was told about it some time ago and always meant to pick it up but last night im glad i did cause i replaced the reverbs from Waves and S1 in a track today with ValhallaRoom and the quality/difference to my ears make me feel bad for only paying $50 for this thing. I will support this developer and spread the word from this day on cause what your getting here is one plugin that just fits perfect in anything you do.. Lol it's so easy to automate in Studio One too it's just amazing.

So yes i would recommend 1000% to shell out $50 and support the developer cause you'd have bigger name company's selling poorer quality reverbs for 10x that price and don't even come close to this.

Of course this is all my opinion but to my ears ValhallaRoom is the best reverb.
Now im just waiting for the developer sending me the new one i ordered later so i can have them on every channel lol :-)

PS

One more thing.. if i was gonna develop my own VST (which i might one day soon) then this would be my first stop to licence my new reverb a plugin etc..
You heard it here first haha

@Bobbotov... you don't have to be weird to really appreciate ValhallaRoom. :)

You should check out the demo and see if it adds something that you like. ValhallaRoom has several different algorithms that bring a lot of choices to the table.

You guys with Toraverb and others (e.g. Redline)... don't get rid of the others just yet. A few weeks ago Sean made a post mentioning the different topologies and how they work together very well when stacking with ValhallaRoom. I think it was part of the reverb experiences thread. Toraverb and Redline were two of the ones that were mentioned and I'm glad that I held on to my Redline, because that opened the door for me to a new line of experimentation. Or... if you have Shimmer, I think that works well too. The point being that just because you have one that doesn't necessarily negate the other. And just because you get one, you shouldn't automatically get rid of the other before playing with different options first. :)
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

There's always room for other verbs of course (no pun intended), but I think one of VRoom's strengths is that - especially for us amateurs - it's hard to make it sound bad. You dial in a preset, and maybe it's not what you're looking for, but your almost never get the nails-on-a-chalkboard sensation you do with some other verbs - I can name one in particular but won't :)

Sometimes you want that bathroom with steel fixtures sound, but mostly, uh... no.

I have heard so much about ValhallaRoom that I downloaded the demo yesterday. Put my $50 down today. This is a great plugin. Really looking forward to putting this to work on my tracks.

Thanks Sean!!!
