Virtually identical, unless you're using Time Machine Pro (uses more RAM and CPU), also some of new filters have switchable oversampling which consumes more CPU as well.
Stability? Pretty much the same over here. However I can crash Kontakt in unimaginable ways nobody should be aware of (and casual users usually aren't like that, so you're good)
