Also would have been nice to know ( *hint* email *hint* ) that you were going to use
a mod of my skin for your product, even if it's free.
I think what you need to do is the following:IrionDaRonin wrote:My second favourite synth so far.

No way of making it work. All my installed banks now sounds at 0 quality (except the original one).
Have a good day.
Thank you very much man for that help!sjm wrote:I think what you need to do is the following:IrionDaRonin wrote:My second favourite synth so far.

1) Create a copy of your z3ta+ VST folder in your VST plugins folder and rename it whatever you like. Also rename the z3ta+.dll file.
2) Copy EVERYTHING in C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\z3ta+ (MIDI Arpeggios, MIDI Learn, Programs) to your new VST folder.
3) Copy EVERYTHING in the folder you installed z3ta+ to to your new VST folder (Arpeggios, Documentation, Resources, Tunings, Wavetables).
4) Extract Arpeggios.zip and replace The Arpeggios folder with the contents of the .zip
5) Extract default.fxb and put it in the Programs folder (overwriting the existing file)
6) Extract oscill.pcm from Waves.zip and copy it to Wavetables folder. Delete oscill.set. Rename oscill.pcm to oscill.set.
HTH
The original instructions are for an ancient version of z3ta+, hence them being horribly wrong and out of date.
Thanks, I didn't know about that. Seems to work great in z3ta 2 since all of the files don't overwrite existing ones. I don't really care about an extra skin, so all good here.Chad@PA wrote: While I do agree importing and wavetable persistence should be easier, Z3ta+2's importing is just as flexible if you are programming a custom set. Just take a look at Muz3um 2 and 1-2-Many's Virus MOD 2.1

Cheers,
