can't find buffer settings,help says press M but that brings up transpose?!
then i can't get off that page.

i mean the audio buffer settings of the vsthost audio device , which you modify in "preferences" (depends of your host) , lower values gives less latency but more distortion if your cpu is not fast enough...(not the settings of the program)

no,my asio settings are ok,
also piano is drenched it delay and reverb which is difficult to switch off.
default should be off,i reckon.
i'm using the onboard keyboard to test so maybe that is set too loud?
(win7 64/32 x86 vsts and host(energyXT2) energyXT1.4 gives 'this is not a vst' error.

if sound is too loud, click on the volume bar to lower it or lower the "gain" value in the 3band equalizer plugin (G)key to show plugins.

(26/01/2013) VSTI max buffersize raised from 512 to 4096 (didnt work with buffersize higher than 512 , only lower)

(21/06/2014) autochord, themeonly, learn (chords) functions added to recorder/player of midipiano_chung (standalone version)
with this you can listen to a song with the chords of an other or saved/loaded or create chord data with the learn function (play to chord). works with the midi input too (ex: usb midi keyboard).
( auto adds chords to a monophonic melody )

i have added a midi quantize trial to free open source midipiano_chung's recorder for score edition of non synchromized midifiles.
to access
midipiano_chung => W(record) => A(noautochord) => S(save) => Q(quantize to midifile)

midipiano_chung free standalone [and now VSTi] virtual midi piano synthesizer/expander
