:hihi: yep, it's me! My son's not quite at college but is learning his alphabet and counting at 17 months so is quite a clever little chap! We're all doing fine thanks Matt. I'm waiting on my new jet-powered super computer, and hoping it'll give my productivity a bit of a boost. Get so little time though and can't seem to make the small windows work for me (guess it's a skill that takes a little learning!!)so we'll see!

Hope all's good with you :)

Very good, happy to hear all's well and I've no doubt he's smart as a whip. Yes, time is a precious commodity and hard to come by during those early years. I do hope you find some time to get creative and entertain our ears in the process.

Everything's going well here... life, kids, music... still plugging away at all three.

Take care and give us a tune when you get a chance. :)

beautiful, kind of quiet and reflective.

You're welcome. I actually keep coming back and listening to it. It's up there with Future Sound of London, Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin for me.

Cheers fate!

Thanks again Lode_Runner, and you've hit on 3 of my personal faves there, so there's little doubt they've left their mark on me.

They haven't left their mark too much though, your sound is still your own.

Well, I can't make my mind up about this. I listened to it 3 times (now 4) and can't decide whether it has a relaxing ambience (as I thought during the first play) or not. Second time through I felt much more tension and now that won't go away. It definitely shares a melancholy atmosphere with Shattered. Looks like you've sold me on Permut8. Gonna d/l later, but only after I have put this on the Zune.

Good work :)

Thanks a lot Tim!

Permut8 can do nice saturation and stereo spread on the more subtle end of things but in general it excels at fsu... ymmv.
