Why sample developers stop selling their older products?

Of course! ;) But the content of old sample cds usually looks like this:

50% = sampled synthesizers and drumboxes
40% = sampled records (uncleared)
10% = own weird stuff (fillers)

Maybe in the 90s a sample cd like Datafile was a big goldmine... but today??

How about company's that stop selling their sample libraries, then wrapping them up in a plugin that is not updated for years.
