Why sample developers stop selling their older products?

But sometimes dated sounds become fashionable again Like now the vintage house thing etc.

Of course! But the content of old sample cds usually looks like this:

50% = sampled synthesizers and drumboxes
40% = sampled records (uncleared)
10% = own weird stuff (fillers)

Maybe in the 90s a sample cd like Datafile was a big goldmine... but today??

How about company's that stop selling their sample libraries, then wrapping them up in a plugin that is not updated for years.
