Multioscilloscope??? Whatfor? Quite frankly I never really understood using oscilloscopes at all (except for technical analysis), so having more of them... brrr...Compyfox wrote:Hm... will you maybe also offer a multi osciloscope version with that analyser? If so, I'd think about getting it.
And to those that are too lazy to look for the intro-price (like myself):
20 EUR or 24 USD - else 50 EUR

It has it's uses if you want to check on transients and the liking. Sorry to crosslink to the competition, but still:

Dunno if you want to implement it, but having both in one tool would be great.

I don't think this is an oscilloscope in a common terms actually - this is basically "waveform view". Oscilloscopes should be able to watch for the periods imho, so they would be good to analyse separate periods of waves (that's why "oscillo"-scope). Dunno, will think about it, now it doesn't really look appealing to be honest.

Your tools, your rules. Was just thinking about it to maybe set yourself off a bit from the competition (BlueCat Audio)

What do you mean by that? They have a multianalyzer too, but personally I didn't even manage it to work, it is more expensive and knows much less imho (though it depends). And multitrack sonogram! Man, nobody on earth has it, until now!Compyfox wrote:Your tools, your rules. Was just thinking about it to maybe set yourself off a bit from the competition (BlueCat Audio)

Damn, you Vojtek, I hate it when you come out with something great at a stupid price and I'm totally broke!
And no one wants to buy my Vandal amp sim...
I have the 15 day demo but have just glanced at it. This thing could be incredibly useful for looking for masking issues, particularly in the bass range. I like the fact that you can basically set the response to very slow peak decay (or freeze it). That lets you pin down where the worst conflicts are and prioritize your EQ'ing scheme around those.

I just bought it
+50 for a custom naming feature.
I also wish we would have some useful informations like RMS and this kind of stuff.

Ok, I caved and got it, even though my plan was to wait and do it on credit after I paid down some cards next month.
I'm sorry, this thing is just too good (or will be when the custom naming is added). Euro is also trending up now (Paypal docked me $25.60).
The thick line is brilliant. Lets you offset one curve against the other, and you can also offset a "priority" curve, like a kick or bass instrument, by making it the only thick-lined curve among several.

While BlueCat Audio doesn't use a sonogram (or spectogram), they were pretty much the forerunners in multi-channel analysis. You would have set yourself apart from them with an Oscilloscope mode.MeldaProduction wrote:What do you mean by that? I still have to test this thing, but why do we need(!) a sonogram?MeldaProduction wrote:And multitrack sonogram! Man, nobody on earth has it, until now!
A ultrasonic representation of the audio stream in MultiTrack? How can you define which instrument is what (overlayed)?
In this case I rather have a multi oscilloscope. Did you even take a look a the competition? Sometimes I have the impression that you pick up excellent ideas from other developers and users that look for certain features. But you ultimately lock yourself out form a certain customer base with rejected (logical/good) FR's.
Again, it's your game and your rules. I'm just saying.

CompyFox: I'm not really sure, what your problem is
About FRs - if you'd see my to-do list, you'd understand
Btw. I stopped using analyzer almost at all, and I'm personally using just sonogram. It's the same thing, but with time representation, which I consider very very important.
