You guys know it's the hot barely-legal that does all the coding, right? Topless, too... like in one of those clandestine drug distribution centers a la New Jack City, so the girls can't steal anything. I get the ad, but with the poorly mixed metaphors and innuendo, doesn't the boyfriend actually come off as gay? All in all, it does have a nearly creepy eurosexual bent to this American heartlander. There's a long tradition of sex in musical instrument ads from nudity in early EMS Putney adverts to Dean guitar girls, etc. Pro audio is prude to puritanical by comparison, or at least a lot more subtle. Now, if the ad model is portraying a vixen vocalist on stage or in the studio, they can and do go farther. Think mic ads with pouty supple lips and what does the handheld mic represent? Then you've got the DJ/EM culture. How many fake sample library covers have ready and willing, bare bellied, nearly topless or bottomless women? Back to ads here: right now I see a girl in the Full Sail ad. This seems to be such a nerdy sausage fest, that even having women in an ad is sort of pandering, though I have to admit that the Catanya girl was pretty cute. Rant over.

I haven't seen it but considering guys like that dude named after a US state who makes songs about tattoos ( ) why is anyone surprised?

Personally, I hate it. I mean sexual ads ARE a turnoff here, but obviously I'm not in the majority.

Money, and sexist/derogatory female remarks.......that's pretty much how life is for most people (or so ads and media seem to imply.
