Your name looks scandinavian and maybe you are from Sweden? Then I recommend the "Mixologi" series from the Studio magazine. The lessons goes through all the common processors used in music. It might be still available in stores or you could purchase the pdf version here though you won't get the videos.

The OP has worked on his own synthedit plugin. If he can use synthedit and construct a custom GUI, surely he knows how AT LEAST half of these things work.
