Reasons to buy a Virus TI2 today over a plugin?

I have almost every plugin out on the market and if I dont own it I would've probably demoed it at some point, there is a limit to my budget.

I would never sell my TI it's sound is unique, I love the non virtual side of the synth, knobv tweeking when playing riffs, jamming and so on is fantatsic.

I get no glitching or crackles if I happen to overload.

I can use it as a midi standalone synth should I choose and dont need to boot up a PC when I fancy a quick play.
I own the module not the keyboard version and wish Id gone for the keyboard but at the time couldn't justify the price difference.
By using a different DAC in the mix brings a different depth of sound to just simply using plugins.

How many plugins are trying to clone the virus and whilst they come close and sound good, they are not a virus and there will always be some difference in my mind and to my ear. Your computer is dealing with a lot and does have a limit.


Plugins that I will never sell and wish I had a hardware version for standalone of the top of my head;

NI Reaktor
uhe Zebra and Diva (I know hardware is planned and hope its not too much)

If I didn't have a Virus I would strongly consider the above and include:

DUNE, Sylenth2, Vanguard,DCAM Synthsquad
2CAudios B2, Vahalas plugins, The Drop when released, Camel Audios Phat and Camelspace,

Not conclusive list just of the top of my head on an early sunday morning.

What I would like to see would be a good value cheap module that could indepently host a number of VSTs and have similar controls on it like a Virus...

Last week I went to store and tested Virus TI. It sure sounds nice but I felt no need to buy it. With same money you get bunch of high quality plug-ins.
If you really want it go ahead, it is great synth but I think I will have a holiday in India and some plug-ins instead of buying synth with extra money I have now.
