Is not another "pointless poll competition".The reason i add the poll is because i have stop music production since Cubase SX3,and im starting again and there is new DAW that i didnt know about them e.g. Studio One,Reaper. And wanna see what people use most to give me a better view. For that reason i downloaded Reaper and Studio one to test them and i liked Studio One more even more than Cubase. So with other words it helped me.michi_mak wrote:did you already apply for the "another pointless poll" competition?

Yeah now that you mention that. I feel like I'm pretty stupid myself because according to this poll I'm not using the most popular DAW.michi_mak wrote:according to this pointless poll you should be choosing REAPER ( supposing you are serious about this poll )!!!
Go figure, I'm using what work's for me.
Sarcasm over, demo's should tell what will work(For You), not a popularity poll.

Ummm... according to the "testimonials" on you-tube, I think you've got that backwards.RunBeerRun wrote:I voted for what I currently use, but once I sell some beats I'm gonna get DubTurbo.

Funny. Selection bias(?). When I was a somewhat content Sonar user, I used to be a bit disappointed that Sonar always performs poorly in these repeated polls. Now that I'm abandoning it and mad at it, I'm glad it does poorly.

Now there's a pitch, your a poet and maybe you know it.Constantine_K wrote:Reaper is cheaper.
Price really shouldn't be a major factor however when it comes to functionality Reaper is up there with the best(if not the best in most polls and the minds of those who swear by it).
You will find yourself with a lot of users in the same frame of mind.

Yes but unfortunately we don't all live in the first world, with first world salaries... Actualy there are a few companies that adapt their prices to where you come from, not many but it exists.CTStump wrote:Price really shouldn't be a major factor

Reaper IS Cheaper,
Can't find anything Deeper,
Live won't Jibe,
I can't Afford to Imbibe,
S1 is Done,
I like it and it's fun,
Cubase is a waste,
I make this claim in Haste,
Reaper IS Cheaper,
I think I found a KEEPER!!!
