In germany energy is rather expensive for private use but cheaper for industry. So there's indeed no point in completely switching off. But our company build and service these machines, we don't own them. The company that has the factory owns the machines and we only can recommend not to switch off. Well, and they never complain about service costs.V'ger wrote:Obviously, but what's the saving when they have to pay you (and others?) overtime and spares? So good for us, we always have enough work.
On topic: I narrowed down my list to 12 songs. Now decisions get really hard.

I work for one factory in Poland. I order machines and I work with service guys (mostly German service). So hello to PocVecem!

@ pocvecem.
I have done my voting , but had to go and buy myself a bottle of single malt whisky today after reading one of your previous posts. It set me back a few bucks but it is worth it.

Phew! This is not easy due to the amount of talent involved in the contributions. I'm presently down to 10 favourites. Now to get them down to 5... This is really hard.
Would you guys consider it a good idea if we all submitted our patches made for Bazille during the competition? (Or at any rate, the ones we are proud of.) Seeing as there are so few patches available for her perhaps the community would benefit for some additions? I've heard some great sounds in these tracks.

@ ClaRago: i hope didn't mislead you to alcoholism.
@ Stollmeister: yes, patch sharing would be a nice idea. I thought about sharing my patches before. But then i recognized that most of my sounds are really very simple and won't sound that good without parameter-automation. But hey, Bazille earns some more presets. So i will upload my sounds soon. Would be cool when some of you would do this also.

When I first started, I though: "wow... 4 oscillators, 4 envelopes, flexible routing - I can make anything with this!" And then, I quickly realized I am a terrible sound designer and no amount of tweaking or otherwise really was getting the sounds I wanted.pocvecem wrote:I thought about sharing my patches before. So, a lot of the sounds from my track(s) end up being layered or, as PocVecem said influenced by the host automation/midi CC data/etc. in one way or another.
But I did get a few good ones. >Here are the good and the bad< Enjoy.
