Cream pre-release version 5

Using with Cubase 7 32-bit + using Steinberg Retrologue VST3 instrument, using latest 32-bit Cream downloaded today.

Cream's potential is enormous, but the problem is the same as with all software these days: full of bugs - ''

Please try to test this stuff on all current DAW to make it as bug free as possible.

FEATURE REQUEST:
- Solo Tracks without the need to switch off the others.

BUGS:
- E.g. Teach CC is set to CC 103 - Status Bar display CC 104.... always a +1 value higher...

- recording with swing problem still exists - any percentage of swing is applied during recording via MIDI Out is screwed up with long notes...
This problem does exist as well when Cubase just in play mode.When nothing is moving, or Swing is 0, all is perferct. But this makes Cream unusable for playing sync with other tracks.

- right click > copy track > paste all > loop points are different from the source track loop settings

- activated 2,3,4 track to play...but nothing happens! There is something strange connection between the Slot1 and the 2-3-4. Slot 1 seems to be working, but 2,3,4 is unstable in several aspects. See next:

- CC automation does not work on track 2... did not test track 3-4… If I add cc automation to track 2,3,4 to using DIFFERENT parameters it messes up the corresponding cc of Track 1 (e.g Track 2 slot 1 CC screw up Track 1 Slot 1 cc)

Just installed v5 and tried to open it both in Live 9 and Studio One v2. It said it was not supported in Live and that it failed to load in Studio One. I uninstalled and installed again and the same thing happened. Version 4 worked fine yesterday.

Can you be more specific about the plugin type. Win/mac Vst/AU 32bit/64bit?

Are you saying that when you open Cream enable only the Track 2 and set the key area properly and then input some MIDI notes the Track 2 doesn't play?
It works fine when I tried it.

How do you input the CC automation? Can you give an example which controls you are automating and perhaps an image of your setup.

- Tracks Key Area Control and Base Note - please add the possibility to set them by pressing notes on the MIDI keyboard.

Hi,

I haved test Cream on Ableton Live 8 and it working find with the mouse right click.

But in Cubase 7.02 the mouse right click doesn't show any menu on the knob for midi learn and for the copy patterns.

My OS is Mac 10.8.2

Hanging Notes and wrong playback with Kirnu-Cream pre-release version 5.

Tested with Presonus Studio One 2.5.1 - 32 bit
Windows 8 64 bit

Endless Notes and wrong playback within loop playing in attached example KirnuCreamHangingNotes.song.
- let playing sequence in loop mode for any times
- sometimes playback is different to played notes
- sometimes hanging notes appears

Kirnu preset: Kirnu_cream_rev4.k2z

You need to cread a second option to create a pattern sequences ... numbers and piano roll ... with numbers we need to use two sequences of raciocine : from numbers to notes, and notes to sound, but with piano roll, is only notes to sound, much more easy and faz ( and visual ... )... numbers is boring, to complex and spends a lot of time to work ... you can mantain the numbers, but create a second option, we need a piano roll there ...

( Oh, forgive my english, lol )

so now i tested with pre release 5 and the the apregshifting on the end of notes/piano roll in fl, just when the playhead jumps back to hosts start happens in this release as well.
so my simple apregsequence will not run seamlessly like in kirnu 1 it would do for me.
there is this shifting/error on the last apreg mote when the fl notes end is reached and host goes back to start.

i am using 32 bit cream plugin version

BUG
- Toggle On/Off does not work in Pattern mode in any of the Pattern modules, including CC's.

- add some color indication to show the toggled on/off state of the pattern mode

We're still not sure if it's a Cream problem or a daw problem at all. However, when you're using a looped sequence/range in the song (instead of "song loop", when host goes back to start) this problem shouldn't appear!
