Well, it's time to get rid off most part of my gear now and start from scratch.

Using just a few synths and see what happens.
A new rebirth from beginning is stimulant and inspiring in the most of cases.

Have a nice day :)

It's safe to say the site will be responding a bit erratic today so we can only apologize and ask you to be patient & try again.

It's impossible for us to maintain server amount required to handle a couple of 100.000 visitors in a couple of hours for the 1 time in about 1.5 years (the time we release a new FL Studio) this happens.

This said the demo server is still doing it's job and serving the download at 1.7mb/sec here :

Hi, - no not at all an FL problem, a KVR problem with the 'reply with quote' failing. Sorry you thought it was you. Best of luck with the release - looks amazing

finally!

I remember migration from the previous to the new version being a pita, though. is this still the case (manually moving project files etc?)? or am I imagining (hah) things?

Is the modwheel issue finally fixed? (Afaik, in the previous versions one had to maually set a modwheel on a controller to transmit CC1 to synths)

Is there a freeze functionality, or any other way to rapidly transform softsynth tracks to audio and back?

You can set the modwheel to control whatever you like and permanantely save it to a template which is loaded upon launch. since... like... ever.

A template in which any synth loaded afterward will have CC1 controlled by modwheel??? :o

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Thanks!

Kinda clumsy (esp, the "freeze" thing), but probably better than nothing.

I have an eye for FL for quite a long time, some things about it are great, but some others not so. I thought that things like one-knob freezing should be a basic functionality of any DAW.

The flexibility that FL Studio's routing offers (you can even automate the FX channel a track is using) can plays against it in behaving like a traditional DAW where one track usually equals one instrument & one FX track.

It's an included plug, it's just limited to FL only. Same as GMS and Bassdrum - both also very nice, by the way. I'm getting some great sounds coming out of all of these! Very happy with my new toys! 8)
