Ahhh taking me back to my youthhhh....the MC shouting aceeeed as the crowd around selling tabs of window panes, tabs of white doves, reefers and tinnies to you in a carpark near the south coast is filled with a few thousand ravers that have materialized at a rave pending the inevitable police barage at 2pm. Loving the thought of those silverboxes rooushing the sound waves through your veins, tingling the hairs on the back of your head, whilst grinning insanely at any being presented in front of yer face yielding a whistle, flares, pumps and a random hippy top with the legendary yellow smiley gazing at you...your eyes dilated like plates harvesting the digression of reality as your mind whizzes into the nemesis of a cosmopolitan landscape of pure thrills....strangers walking around with pythons wrapped around their necks and juggling fire sticks....I wish I were 19 again...no cares and endless nights that migrated into daze...

But you have to grow up eventually

so its a cuppa tea and thinking I need to dig out the old vinyl and get a mix set up'd to soundcloud pretty soon for posterity

Just for you - a small selection from my vinyl collection, a really (and I mean ropey) live mix. Not had the decks up and running for a long time. Bad levels and mixing, cutting and dropping. Just a short 40 min session of the cuff.

I used to drive 2-3 hrs home from some of those old raves. Dunno how I managed to get home alive, come to think of it...

Remember how your eyes used to spin around when you get headlights straight ahead?
