My advice:

It depends on what DAW you are using but pick one (I would recommend Ableton) and get to know itt inside out. Look for tutorials on it, get to know what each instrument does etc. I would start with the drum machine in your chosen DAW. Get some beats down, listen to music, see how it works, how the drums are programmed, what goes where. Learn some musical theory, how chords, melody and bass all fit together. Read this inside out:

If you are going to use Ableton then watch this(ALL OF IT):

There is no shortage of videos for all the DAWS. Watch them!

Buy a midi keyboard. Get to know how this works with automation and live recording in your DAW.

Learn all about synthesis as this is the fundamental of making original electronic music. This long and boring video should get you started:

There is 3 parts to it, watch them all! Also download the demo of Syntorial (you can find this yourself as I cant be bothered and I think if you are about to set out on this journey you need to start doing things yourself as it requires a lot of hard work and hurdles). As part of synthesis you should pick one synth, probably one that comes with the DAW of your choice. If you are using Ableton I would start with Analog as it is a subtractive synthesiser and this is probably the easiest place to start. Operator (Ableton's other synth) is an FM synth which is harder to learn.

That should get you started ;)
