Depends how big your mixing desk is - if it's so big that you're sitting 4 meters away from your screen, a bigger screen is better...

A big touch screen is great if used as a Midi keyboard controller especially if or when it can sense velocity. But even without velocity capability I would love to have one but unfortunately presently only very few apps are available for Windows 7/8.
Once you use the large touch screen as a midi controller some aspects of Sonar X3 (it is touch-ready) can be include in the Window. So I believe that once you decide to use the large touch screen as a midi controller you may include a DAW or VST or VSTi in the same window or ALT-TAB to bring to front. So for a musical performance this a great combination. For editing it may not be so. Comments?
