I agree with bmanic above, that the new PreciseU algorithm is superb. I am a new user of forums, and not well acquainted with formatting here. There is a TransGainer preset I have developed, which adds significant magic to full mixes, giving a special glow to the music and its environment.
Although there is no need to do anything to get the "Full Mix Magic", as I call it, it also can help to bring multi-miking into a clear and more forward focus. This last aspect is greatly assisted if you have removed excess hash using Voxengo's PHA-979 to "steer" the mix into your chosen max-power position (usually just a small number and fraction away from zero), as you adjust for the clearest and most powerful presentation from your monitors. It takes but a minute or two, listening to each channel by itself. (Many times, the channels match closely in their settings.) Move the mouse wheel *very slowly*, while hovering and auditioning each channel's phase control. You will hear a lock-in... and you can fine-tune the setting from there by then entering the digits as you listen. Watch the PHA-979's output, since it sometimes will increase volume enough to produce a slight overload.
Being a forum newbie, I have attempted to upload the saved .fxb bank to this topic as a zip file, best I can (Full Mix Magic). Oversampling is set to 1x, to preserve max clarity, especially at this "miniscule" Trans gain setting. Note that the reduced output setting is to offset the gain setting, to try to avoid any possible introduction of overload. As Aleksey Vaneev would say: "Happy Mastering"!

what I dont get is that some people feel a need to post pretty rude statements like the one quoted.kvaca wrote: what I dont get is that you prefer permanently creating new versions of compressors, transient designers etc...which are only rarely better than your competition, but for many years refusing to update PS which still has almost no competition - quality or feature-wise...
I use several Voxengo plugins and just extensively demoed the new Transgainer. This thing is way ahead of any other transient manipulator I've tried so far. And I've tried a few.
